This is Z, reporting live from the front lines of Japan.

It's been a while since my last update so I'm going to talk about game.

There's a lot of game in Japan

I got fire emblem, for some reason there`s like no motion control. You can play it with the classic controller. The game seems good but the graphics are pretty unimpressive, if you like Fire Emblem games you`ll like this one. It just doesn`t really take advantage of the Wii, cinematics are really good tho. Yea we should have to shake the Wiimote during fights, the Wii has so much untapped potential.

I got battalion wars 2. Get to command a large army and destroy everything, it's like Battlefield 2 I guess, but more arcadey.

For some reason some of my friends are questioning the accuracy of my xanga update! So here's a pic of my significant other:

What's up gang!

It's been a long time but now I will fulfill my promise of updating my xanga!

As many of you may have guessed I am in Japan (or Nihongo as us Japanese call it).

Japan is a really weird country, just like Kelly Osbourne says it is. My greatest difficulty is the lack of any Sprite, I'm practically dying of thirst.

Well rather than bore everyone with the insipid details of my adventures (new friends, girlfriend, becoming dean of my school, learning Karate) in Japan I'll mention something crazy and exciting:

In Tokyo now.

So, I turned 23 the other day, I was too busy with meetings and such to make an official entry for it. Didn't do much other than going to meetings, managed to get together with Shi and see the Simpsons movie though. I guess it was better than I expected, but still nowhere near the golden days of the TV show. Heh, best part of the movie is how they turned that 7-11 in Times Square to the Kwik E Mart!

Anyway the flight sucked but I managed to stay entertained through it. I must be getting used to these things. Now to spend a few days in various meetings!

Came back from LA awhile ago, got hit with jetlag like crazy at first but recovered.

Saw a couple of movies.

Live free or Die Hard was an awesome movie and definitely worth seeing. It managed to keep the fun of the original movies while taking place in a modern environment. John McClane was everything he should have been, and there were plenty of great one-liners. I didn't have many expectations for this movie so needless to say I was quite happy with how it turned out.

Transformers was rather crap. I was never that big a Transformers fan back in the day so maybe I'm missing something, but this movie was bloody awful. Terrible plot and acting, too much was focused on the unlikable humans instead of the robots. The fights were so bad, I couldn't tell what was going on at all. I mean, I understand that people say that you're just supposed to not think about things and watch the robots, but the movie seemed really determined to follow a plot and make you care about it. The fights sucked anyway, so I don't see how people enjoyed those. I swear, if this movie was called anything other than "Transformers" but was exactly the same, people would be calling it one of the worst movies of the year. Oh well.
